Apple and cinnamon are a great combo, so it's only natural to combine them into an apple cinnamon quick bread.

Preheat your oven to 365°F, 180°C and line a loaf tin.

In a bowl sift the salt, spices, flour and baking soda. In another bowl mix the sugars, oil, the egg and vanilla. Stir in the chopped apple pieces.

Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, along with the milk. Fold it together but don't over mix.

Spoon into the lined loaf tray and bake for 50-60 minutes.

Lift the loaf out of the tray and allow to cool for 20 minutes.

Mix together the icing sugar cinnamon and milk to create a smooth paste.

Drizzle the glaze over the apple bread loaf.
