Biscoff Brownies 

With a thick cookie butter layer and swirl

These chewy brownies are filled with a thick layer of Biscoff cookie butter and topped with a cookie butter swirl.

Melt together semi-sweet chocolate and butter, then whisk in sugar while still hot.

Whisk in eggs, one at a time and beating well after each addition. Add in vanilla and salt.

Whisk through cocoa powder, ground cinnamon and flour.

Pour 1/2 the batter into a lined 8x8 pan.

Pour over a layer of melted cookie butter and spread it out.

Dollop over the remaining brownie batter and carefully spread it out.

Swirl over a little more cookie butter and create some patterns using a skewer.

Bake for around 30 minutes, then let it cool completely before slicing.

Slice into 16 squares. The brownies store well in the pantry or fridge, or they can be frozen
