Homemade Brioche Bread Step-by-step

This classic brioche recipe makes deliciously buttery and tender French bread.

Brioche has a large amount of butter and eggs in it which makes it super enriched with lots of flavor and tender texture.

Start by mixing warm milk, yeast, sugar, flour and eggs into a stiff dough.

Until glossy and smooth. Let it rise in a warm spot until doubled, then refrigerate overnight.

The next, divide the cold dough into 2. Then shape into 2 loaves.

Or braid the dough. Once risen again, brush the tops of the dough with egg wash.

Bake until deep golden brown, then let the bread cool down before slicing.

Leftover brioche makes amazing french toast! It can be also be frozen for up to 3 months.
