Small-Batch Chocolate Brownies

This small batch brownie recipe is rich, fudgy and super chocolaty. It's baked in a  loaf pan.

Begin by melting together butter and chocolate.

Mix in sugar while the butter mixture is still hot.

Mix in egg, vanilla. Then mix in unsweetened cocoa powder.

Finally, add in all-purpose flour, salt and chocolate chips.

Mix to combine it into a  glossy chocolate batter.

Scoop the batter into a lined 8x4 inch loaf pan.

Bake for approximately 20-22 minutes until a knife or skewer inserted into the pan comes out with a few moist crumbs still sticking to it.

Let the brownie cool completely in the pan before removing it.

Slice it into 6 or 8 slices. Leftover brownie stores super well in the fridge or the freezer!
